Today, July 16, marks the announcement of the nominees eligible at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards!

Many television programs beloved by the Emerson community have received recognition in a landmark year for human understanding: old standbys like “Mad Men”, “Orange is the New Black”, and “Game of Thrones” (which received the most amount of nominations at 24!) are still hot, while the nominations for HBO’s “Bessie” (about legendary soul singer Bessie Smith) and “Transparent” (starring Jeffrey Tambor as a conflicted cross-dresser) are speaking to current issues people are striving to humanize and repair.

The complete list of Emmy nominations is below.

The 67th Primetime Emmy Awards will air on September 20 at 8 p.m. on FOX. This year’s host-time–a first-timer—is SNL alum and Brooklyn Nine-Nine favorite Andy Samberg.
