On December 4, Will Ferrell in full character as the hilarious self-obsessed San Diego anchorman Ron Burgundy came to Emerson College in Boston as the college decided to rename itself “The Ron Burgundy School of Communication” for one day and one day only.

At noon the college held a press conference with the legendary anchorman, the Interim Dean of the School of Communications, Senior Journalism student Muna Moushien and the President of Emerson College Lee Pelton, during which the school’s name was officially changed for the day. The event served as one of many publicity stunts for Will Ferrell’s new film Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (in theaters now).
